In 1988, Kenny Monday etched his name in history as the first Black Olympic Champion in wrestling. The Monday wrestling shoe is 35 years in the making, paying tribute to a trailblazing legend of the sport.

Features

  • Dual Crown Last construction provides the most anatomically correct foot shape while aligning key drive points across the forefoot.
  • Engineered Mesh throughout the entire shoe provides breathability where needed and support where necessary. The open-mesh weave facilitates air-flow and allows for heat and moisture to escape.
  • PU Footbed Liner provides excellent shock absorption while maintaining a low profile and close-to-the-mat feel
  • Split Sole Outsole reduces weight while maintaining traction and flexibility. The low profile and minimal use of rubber is the lightest in the RUDIS line of wrestling shoes.
  • Tongue Gusset is an ergonomic and narrow tongue design that prevents bunching while the internal flexible gusset keeps the tongue aligned in in the proper position. The RUDIS lace garage covers up any loose ends that might hang free or get in the way.

And these are without a doubt the most comfortable wrestling shoes I've ever owned. They fit PERFECT and are comfortable to wear for 2-3 sessions in a day.
