RUDIS announces its official entrance into the sport of lacrosse through an exclusive partnership with Resolute Lacrosse and the signing of its first lacrosse athletes, brothers Pat and Chris Kavanagh.
For more than a decade, RUDIS has been known as a wrestling brand. Wrestling taught the company how to listen to athletes, understand the culture of sport, and create products around the real demands of competition. That same approach will guide RUDIS as it enters lacrosse.
“When RUDIS began, we didn’t start with a background in apparel. We started with a deep love for wrestling. The sport came first, and we learned everything else by serving the athletes who make it great,” said Jesse Leng, Co-Founder and CEO of RUDIS. “We knew the athletes, the coaches, the community, the language, the standard, and the soul of the sport. Over time, that love for wrestling, paired with a relentless competitive spirit, now serves the most elite athletes, coaches and fans on earth. Our goal in lacrosse is to build the same way: with humility, discipline, reverence, and deep respect for the people who have carried the game forward.”
Beginning July 1, RUDIS will become the official and exclusive provider of team gear and performance apparel for all Resolute Lacrosse programs. The partnership unites two Columbus-based organizations that share a commitment to athlete development, product excellence, and building culture the right way.
Founded and led by people deeply rooted in the sport, Resolute has grown into one of the nation’s most respected lacrosse organizations by prioritizing player development and culture.

As part of its launch into lacrosse, RUDIS is also welcoming its first lacrosse athletes with the signing of Pat and Chris Kavanagh. Pat and Chris Kavanagh have built their careers through unwavering discipline and a commitment to doing things the right way. Pat, the 2024 Tewaaraton Award winner, is recognized for his vision and ability to elevate everyone around him. Chris, the 2025 PLL Rookie of the Year, has built his reputation on grit, consistency, and delivering when the stakes are highest. Together, they bring a shared determination for excellence that will shape the future of RUDIS and the future of lacrosse.
The partnership with Resolute and the signing of the Kavanagh brothers mark the first steps in RUDIS’ long-term commitment to lacrosse.
