Look Good, Feel Good, Wrestle Good: Triangle Wrestling Academy x RUDIS

At Triangle Wrestling Academy, success isn’t measured only by medals or match results. It’s measured by the habits built in practice, the confidence earned through hard work, and the character formed along the way. The room is a place where young wrestlers are taught to take pride in effort, commit to improvement, and carry themselves with discipline on and off the mat.

THE FOUNDATION

Based in North Carolina, the spark for this club was first lit in Pennsylvania by two lifelong friends. Founded by Zach Zavatsky and Dom Scalise, TWA was started with a shared passion for the sport of wrestling and a clear vision for youth development. What started with a small group of athletes has grown into a thriving club built around long-term development, strong values, and doing things the right way.

“Every decision we make, from coaching structure to training environment, is rooted in helping athletes grow not just as wrestlers, but as confident and disciplined young people,” said Zack Zavatsky, Co-Founder and Coach at TWA. “We emphasize fundamentals, accountability, work ethic, and enjoying the process, while still holding high standards and competitive expectations.”

The team behind the logo is more than a wrestling staff; it’s a group of leaders invested in the full development of their athletes. As TWA has expanded its coaching staff, training space, girls program, and fitness offerings, so has its ability to support athletes in every phase of their journey. At its core, TWA is guided by a clear mission: to provide a positive and supportive environment where athletes build elite technique, sharpen their mindset, and develop the confidence to reach their full potential on the mat and in life.

STRONGER TOGETHER

The partnership between TWA and RUDIS is built on mutual respect for the sport and a shared commitment to doing things the right way. Both organizations believe wrestling teaches lessons that last a lifetime.

“Triangle Wrestling Academy represents exactly what it means to be a program that elevates our brand, both on and off the mat,” expressed Jake DiMantova, Team Sales Representative at RUDIS. “Working with TWA has always been a pleasure, and I truly believe the best is yet to come for Zack, Dom, and TWA.”

For TWA athletes, wearing RUDIS gear is about more than appearance. It represents pride in their academy, belief in their training, and respect for the sport’s traditions. High-quality practice gear and competition apparel give athletes one less thing to think about when they step on the mat, allowing them to focus fully on performance. Families and athletes alike rally around the team gear because it symbolizes belonging. When TWA wrestlers show up in RUDIS, they show up as part of something bigger than themselves.

ONE COMMUNITY

Team gear plays a powerful role in building identity. It creates unity in the room, confidence in competition, and pride in representing your club wherever you go. For a program like Triangle Wrestling Academy, where culture and character development are priorities, that identity matters.

The TWA community continues to grow, and its partnership with RUDIS grows alongside it. Together, they’re helping the next generation of wrestlers develop skills, mindset, and values that will serve them for years to come.
