FEMALE FOCUSED DESIGN

Most wrestling shoes are adapted from men’s models, but female athletes deserve a more curated fit. RUDIS built a wrestling shoe specifically for the female foot, taking into account key anatomical differences such as a narrower heel and higher instep.

PRODUCT DESIGN

WHAT's DIFFERENT?

While the core performance features such as grip, flexibility, and ankle support remain consistent across both, the primary distinctions lie in sizing, fit, and foot shape.

Women’s wrestling shoes are generally built on a last that accommodates their unique biomechanics and foot shape, with features like a narrower heel. In contrast, men’s wrestling shoes typically have a wider overall fit and are less precisely tailored to anatomical differences.

PRODUCT DESIGN

Powered by Athletes

Another standout feature is the PowerDrive™, engineered to maximize energy return and responsiveness. It helps athletes maintain performance through powerful transitions and stances, enabling sharper direction changes, stronger shots, and improved mat control. It also reduces the forces that can lead to turf toe and other injuries.

Our product development team has collaborated closely with female athletes and coaches to design wrestling shoes that are purpose-built. We've created a fit that truly aligns with the unique anatomical and performance needs of women on the mat.
