One of our lightest shoes, the RUDIS Samurai is built for the wrestler who knows speed is a powerful ally. Designed with a reinforced sock-like fit; the wrestler and the shoe truly become one. The one-piece, omni-direction outsole provides a classic yet stealthy feel built for ultimate control.

Product Story

The Samurai depiction was chosen as the Dave Schultz Wrestling Club logo, paying tribute to Dave’s studies of Miyamoto Musashi, and a life of excellence. 

Inspired by Dave Schultz, the RUDIS Samurai is a reflection of the way Dave lived his life both on and off the mat.

  • Ankle Wrap provides lightweight support around the ankle to lock down the shoe for a tight and secure fit
  • Dual Crown Last construction provides the most anatomically correct foot shape while aligning key drive points across the forefoot where a supportive platform is needed
  • Engineered Mesh throughout the shoe provides breathability and support where necessary. The open-mesh weave facilitates air flow and allows for heat and moisture to escape
  • Omni Directional Outsole provides grip & traction focusing on specific drive points. High-wrapping rubber on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe that maintains traction when foot is at an angle
